.50 cal. CVA Eclipse 209 “Magnum” Muzzleloader, what is the best Powerbelt bullets, for Big Game?
Best Powerbelt bullet, conical projectile with plastic base, for Big Game, deer, elk, moose and bear, (manufacturer, type and grain).
I use 209 shotshell primers, and 3 X 50 Pyrodex Pellets @ .50 cal., and use to use TC ( Thompson/Center) Maxi Hunter @ .50 cal. / 350 grain. I want something more accurate, heard Powerbelt was the way to go!
* I use the Hornaday 300 gr ETP bullet in my Ruger .45 Colt, loaded on top of 24 gr. of H110. I have found this to be DEVASTATING to deer, pigs, elk within 100 yds.
Someone out there uses these bullets in sabot rounds for your smoke pole.
