I need to know about extended good for black powder?
I'm going to buy a Thompson Center Omega .50 caliber muzzleloader with a momentum stock. Need know what is a good opportunity that will give me a great view up to 250 meters and remains a good view of nearby targets. additional credits to those who really have a TC Omega with a scope, expierence please share! ps I prefer Leupold scopes of the mark. I am a bow hunter that goes into each year, several deer with my bow. It is not necessary charging stations mouth in a sort of time machine events in 1885. Since I can not hunt with a firearm in the area where I live, I wanted to do my best muzzloader I could. Besides, I wanted two more weeks of hunting rifle. My plan is to use this muzzeloader both during the shotgun season and muzzle. My grandfather and great grandfather hunted with Mauser rifles in Croatia. Unfortunately I can not hunt with a gun where I live, so going back in time is not the goal here. Is not my knowledge of the game. Basically, adhere to the question.
Deer hunting, I with my Omega Thompson / Center. I got mine for a few years. I have a Leupold 2-7 power scope of X lattice double mine. If my memory serves me correctly, I spent a little over $ 200 for the scope (selling price is higher) and it was worth every penny. The power increase 7.2 Functions well in low light or light conditions. It works well for both closure and long range. It took me about two times 220 meters Virginia in recent years and has left them where they were both times. (6 total deer so far with my T / C), I suggest you use a plastic bag with your choice the ball of shoes with T / C. It will strengthen the groups that strip. I have full confidence in this platform and to take him to Canada in the fall for black bear and brown.
